meet lilo & rolo
a brindle girl, a blue boy, and a whole lot of little moments worth capturing.
This site is dedicated to Lilo and Rolo — my two French Bulldogs who run the household and make me smile every day. Everything here is about them: the naps, the playing, and the small daily dramas that are somehow never that small when a Frenchie is involved.
Lilo is my brindle AKC beauty and the quiet boss of the operation. She turned 1 in May 2026 and has so much more to experience in her life. She rules from the best seat in the house, hands out side-eye like it's currency, and holds strong opinions on absolutely everything (especially laundry).
Rolo is my blue boy and the undisputed main character. He turned 6 in June 2026 but will always be my big little man. He has big opinions (most easily identified by his signature grumpy lip), bigger snores, and a real talent for claiming whatever seat you were just about to sit in. What he lacks in impulse control, he makes up for in pure, snuggly affection.
Rolo is also an IVDD warrior. After surgery in October 2025, he faced a difficult recovery with a strength and determination that continue to inspire me every day. I am endlessly thankful for his resilience and his will to overcome the challenges life has put in front of him.
Lilo went through that journey with us, too. Through every difficult day, she stayed close to both Rolo and me, offering comfort in the way only a dog can. She was our steady presence, our little ray of light, and a reminder that none of us were facing it alone.
Together, they are chaos and comfort in equal measure. This is where I will document their adventures, milestones, and everyday moments so none of it slips by unremembered.
